Seafood can quickly build histamine if not properly stored. I buy frozen shrimp and rapidly defrost them to minimize the build up of histamine. This dish also calls for lime juice which is higher in histamine. Since my rashes are controlled I am happy to report I had no problem with this delicious meal!
